First, we loaded the kids up and took them on their longest car ride to date: 1 hour and 15 minutes. We listened to a lot of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the way there and a lot of VeggieTales Greatest Hits on the way back. They did really well! Whew!
After talking to a friend, we decided that two double strollers were the way to go. I'm glad we left the wagon at home! There were too many people and the farm terrain was too rough for it to have worked. Strollers were perfect though!
When we got there, we headed for the free hot dog tent first. The kids were hungry, and we appreciated the thoughtfulness of the farm to provide a lunch for their guests!
It's really hard to get a family photo where you can see everyone's face!

Shatto Milk Truck
After our hot dogs, we headed over to see the cows. Shatto Dairy Farm sells their milk in glass bottles, so we wanted to see where the milk came from. It was so hot that we didn't make it all the way to the milking barn, but we did get to see the little calves. Ellie even had the chance to touch one!
And no, we didn't coordinate the yellow and white. It just happened. :)
