If we can't laugh at ourselves, we might as well give up! I'll bet people are way more understanding than you think they are. With a singleton, if he has a meltdown, you should see the stares, it's like "She can't even control one kid?" Ugh. Sounds like your party was memorable for everyone :)Burbs to Boonieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11595559242259847506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3459178608294921310.post-76792715330610147202013-08-28T20:05:59.126-05:002013-08-28T20:05:59.126-05:00Going out with Lincoln is an adventure and a half ...Going out with Lincoln is an adventure and a half and I consider it success if we all make it home alive. So you guys? Get extra bonus points, easy. ;)

PS I'm inviting you to Lincoln's birthday party since you all won't be on lockdown this year (right?) and I don't care if your kids sneak cupcakes. ;)Julie @ Director Jewelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16158588473566959837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3459178608294921310.post-34863893084190247002013-08-28T17:48:03.349-05:002013-08-28T17:48:03.349-05:00*whew* I have to catch my breath after just readin...*whew* I have to catch my breath after just reading about your day!!Anjanettehttp://www.raisingthebarrs.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3459178608294921310.post-39203865709445733382013-08-28T11:00:05.796-05:002013-08-28T11:00:05.796-05:00I had to giggle at this. He had an absolute fit at one party when he spotted the cake before it was time to cut it. I can't imagine adding 3 more obstinate 2 year olds to the mix! "They" tell me that it gets easier-I pray for both our sakes that it is true :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3459178608294921310.post-4994176939598111752013-08-28T09:52:29.090-05:002013-08-28T09:52:29.090-05:00That's how I feel when I take all (6 now with ...That's how I feel when I take all (6 now with the baby) of my kids anywhere. Usually it's the 2.5yr old twins that have me close to tears and wanting to pull my hair out. Church is especially hard on us and usually my husband ends up taking them out to walk laps around the halls while I try to keep the other 4 quiet. Almost every Sunday we end up asking ourselves why we even bother going to church. We can never just sit and enjoy conversations or relax, we are constantly doing head counts or jumping up to get someone out of something or find one that's gotten out of sight.Karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06825366006877044399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3459178608294921310.post-81634767548503369732013-08-28T09:21:02.748-05:002013-08-28T09:21:02.748-05:00Oh my goodness! Mental note: for the sanity of all parents involved, don't put out the cupcakes until it's time to eat them! ;)Rustie D.noreply@blogger.com
