I love your new website! It looks great. However, when I look at it (I tried Firefox, Chrome and IE) the top banner won't load. Everything else shows up fine, but that doesn't load. Just thought you'd like to know. I can't wait to see it soon!

Hi, i have been following your blog for awhile now and have noticed some issues lately. Some of your pages have 2 comment boxes, some times there are display issues. Once last week i could not get on your site because my bookmark was for theishumquads.com and just got a 404 error. So i just went on to read omg there's three and the mccleary's blogs. But i saw from their sites that you had a new post and i clicked a found out that link work. But your other link didn't. Now for some reason i dont see the new posts from the mcclearys, at first i thought they didn't have any updates. But i went on to the omg theres 3 and saw hers was working. Just thought you'd want to know your new site is having some issues. According to w3c it has over 300 markup errors.

Hi Amy,

That is no good! I'm so sorry that you are having issues. Last week, I did have my awesome blog designer add a new domain to the ones that point to this website. I'm wondering if you tried to get here through theishumquads.com while everything was being redirected? That web address will still get you here, but the primary one is now abeautifulruckus.com.

I'm not real tech savvy, so hopefully you can help me out a bit? What is w3c and what are markup errors? I definitely want to fix anything that isn't working.

One other questions, when did you notice the issues starting? Was it before or after the new blog design went into effect in mid-July? There could be a problem with the coding that is causing issues. If I know when they started, then I know where to start to fix them.

Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know about the issues, Amy! It's much appreciated!

Rebecca

Rebecca,

Some of the issues occured last week, durring the domain switch. Last Wed/Thur i know for sure i clicked over to the mccleary quads from your site when it the main domain was theishumquads.com, but on sat when your domain was switched their feed does't seem to show up anymore. As for the markup errors those started showing up when you got the new layout. Markup errors are errors in the code that renders your site. You can go to the link below to check your site, and enter your site url or any specific page link.

I've done some clicking around and see what you mean about the double sets of comments on all of the pages. I really, really appreciate you pointing this out! I'll contact the gal who designed my blog and see if she can fix the errors and make the site more user friendly. My apologies for the issues, and thank you for fighting through it to let me know what is going on!

If you come across the domain error again, please let me know. Hopefully, it's all ironed out now that it's been a few days and taken full effect.

Hello! I stumbled across your blog during one of my many internet searches, as my wife and I have recently found out we are pregnant with quadruplets. Needless to say, we were excited to learn we were expecting, but completely unprepared to learn that it was four babies! I know this is a question that could produce a novel-length answer, but what advice can you give us? My wife is currently 7 weeks pregnant, and to say we have be on a roller-coaster ride is a complete understatement. We are both searching for someone who has been there to tell us it will all be ok. I truly believe that all things happen for a reason, but right now, the reason behind this is escaping me. All I know is that when I saw those four little hearts beating on the ultrasound screen, my whole world changed....

Hello Rebecca

I am a student nurse in Canada doing a project for my senior practicum (I graduate in 2 weeks with my BN!) I am creating a poster with pictures to show other families what to expect going in to the operating room for a cesarean. I work in Labour and Delivery and I often feel so bad for the support people (mostly dads) who wait outside the rooms for mom to get ready having NO CLUE what's going on. I'm hoping that this poster (and your picture of you and your husband) will help others to know what to expect. Please let me know if I can use the picture with you and your husband smiling while you are ready for surgery.

Sincerely Meghan

I was wondering if you ever hear of people having allergic reactions to essential oils. I am sensitive to strong fragrances, though not all fragrances. I would like to try these but am hesitant because of sensitivity & allergies. Thanks!

Rebecca,

Your cousin Jimmie/George Want forwarded your Christmas trip blog to me and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My father and his sister went to Chamberino school with your grandpa and I'm proud to be a friend of J. Paul Taylor myself. My family had a farm in Chamberino from 1923 until 2011! And while I don't have much experience with quadruplets, in 2004 I married a woman with triplets (now age 26) so I do have some experience with multiples (and 2 of her other daughters have each given birth to twins).

As you already know, your grandfather is a very special person; I'm proud to call him my friend. I probably met your mother somewhere along the way but cannot really claim to know her.
