The Little Things Thursdays: #3

Ready for this week's Little Things?

Our Top Heavy Christmas Tree
Ah, Christmas time with toddlers! We have officially reached a new level: A Toddler Themed Christmas Tree...in other words, all of the ornaments are only on the top half!

Christmas Lights with the Family
Earlier this week, we put the kids in their pjs and took them out to look at Christmas lights! I'm not convinced that they entirely caught on to the activity, but they did really well in their newly-front facing car seats! Plus, when the "Christmas in Kansas City" song came on, all of them started singing along! They'd never heard it before, but apparently they are huge fans! :-) Sean and I loved getting to start this Christmas tradition!

Deep Frying
This is one of those bucket list things I've been wanting to do for years: deep fry something. Totally unhealthy, but a bucket list activity anyway. This week, I successfully crossed it off of my list! I made Homemade Seasoned French Fries and Homemade Chick-fil-A Chicken Nuggets! (And now I know that I can deep fry, it's time-consuming, and I prefer real Chick-fil-A even though my homemade version did turn out pretty well.)

Crazy Hair
Every time I put Ellie's hair in pigtails, it ends up standing straight up on end when I take the hair ties out. She has the straightest hair...so adorable! (and yes, I do wash it!)
