With Christmas having just passed, I'm sure everyone has at least one Little Thing that made them happy! Link up or leave a comment below to share!
1. A Surprise Gift from a College Friend
It was so fun to get a big box in the mail with a giant cookie bouquet from my friend Lindsey. She's a big important nuclear pharmacist on the east coast now, and it was so thoughtful of her to think of us! Also, I love cookies, so this was amazing! :)
2. I Actually Finished a "Just-for-Fun" Book
I don't have much time to read these days...okay, like no time. But Frank Peretti is one of my favorite authors and when I found out that he had a new book, I had to read it. What would have normally taken me two-three days took more like three weeks, but I actually finished it! And it was really good too! I highly recommend reading Illusion
and other novels by Frank Peretti!
3. Awesome Christmas Gifts
These are things I would never buy for myself, but my parents and Sean's parents gave them to me for Christmas! My parents gave me this really fun book called The Flavor Thesaurus: A Compendium of Pairings, Recipes and Ideas for the Creative Cook. It lets you look up an ingredient and it lists complementary ingredients and how to use them. So fun for experimenting in the kitchen! And then Sean's parents gave me fun socks! I've wanted fun socks for quite awhile but haven't been able to rationalize spending $2-$3 on one pair of socks when I can buy a value pack of white socks. I love them (and my kids love them too!)
4. This Insanely Adorable Video of Ellie
That is just impossible to watch without grinning!
5. Having My Hubby Home for Two Whole Weeks!
Sean was on vacation the week before Christmas and gets to work from home this week. It has been so SO wonderful having him home! Granted, he is in his office the majority of the time this week, but just knowing he is around makes me happy!
Now it's your turn! What Little Things brightened up your week? Link up your post below and make sure you come back next week to play again!

Thank you so much for dropping by to visit! I'm Rebecca, the proud mama of Kansas City quadruplets born on February 23, 2011! This blog started as a way to keep our friends and family in the loop during our pregnancy and has been continued as a way to document our crazy, wonderful, blessed life!
