Happy Thursday, everyone! :-)
1. YOU!
I've had 89 responses to the survey I posted a few days ago. Thank you so much for taking a few minutes to fill it out! I have a lot to think about and work on based on what was said. I also have quite the list of topic ideas to write about now as well. I love it! If you missed the survey and still want to take it, please click HERE. I can have up to 100 responses, so the survey will automatically close when it reaches that point. But seriously, 89 responses? You guys are awesome!
2. Sneaky Apple Eaters
Sean's parents included apples in all of our stockings at Christmas. I had them sitting on the kitchen table in a plastic sack (you can see it behind Abby above), and they somehow managed to get it down. We had just finished dinner, so Sean and I were cleaning up and didn't realize that they were all happily munching away until they had taken a bite out of every single apple. It was like we hadn't even fed them dinner. They all ate about half of their apples except for Caleb who ate two-thirds of his! And now I also know that they do just fine eating an apple with a peel on it. No more peeling for me!
3. My Favorite Hot Drink from McDonalds
We went to my parents' house for New Year's lunch and as we were leaving, Sean offered to swing through McDonalds for my favorite drink since it was Happy Hour: Caramel Hot Chocolate! So thoughtful of him to think of doing that for me!
4. Our Will is In Place
We got our final documents for our will and such this week. As much as I didn't want to think about what would need to happen if we pass away, I'm so glad that things are set up now.
The link up rules are super simple!
1. Please keep your linked post clean and respectful! Any links directing to offensive posts will be deleted.
2. Please add the button or a text link to your sidebar or post to share the fun that we are having over here!
3. Please visit at least one other blog linking up and leave some blog love. Maybe you will find someone else's "little thing" is exactly what you needed to read!

I'm finally back in the blogging swing and linking up today! :) Thanks for the reminder about getting things in order for a will. That's on our to-do list, but I keep forgetting! :/
ReplyDeleteWills aren't something I enjoy thinking about either, but they are really important! I hope you are able to get one ironed out quickly!
DeleteThanks for linking up!
I am so happy that I found your blog from Bloggy Mom January Blog Hop! What a life story you have going on!
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned that apples were put into all the stockings. My family follows that same vibe by putting clementines in all the stockings. (Prevention of scurvy during the winter months is very important, you know ;-> )
I need to go check out your survey now.
Haha, indeed! My parents didn't put fruit in our stockings so I was surprised when my husband's family did. We always get an apple, an orange, and a banana every year. It's fun!
DeleteThanks for stopping by! I'm looking forward to checking out your blog!
Thanks for the tip on apples. I keep peeling them wondering when they will be ready but afraid to try. I will try it now. : 0 )
