A couple of months ago, I had a chance to try some new products. I love trying new products since I often find treasures where I least expect them!
First of all, you should know that I'm an all-natural wannabe. I really like the idea of using natural, chemical free products but I often feel like those products fall short. So when my friend Elizabeth asked if she could send me a skincare kit for her new business, L'Bri, I was rather skeptical. I'd love to be all natural about my skincare, but I need something that actually cleans my face and doesn't leave me smelling like a spinach leaf.
L'Bri is an all-natural skincare line that is aloe vera based. Unlike other skincare products that are primarily made of water with a slew of other skin drying chemicals and pore-clogging waxes, L'Bri keeps their products 100% natural. With aloe vera being the primary ingredient, along with natural vitamins and herbs, these products promote healing and renewal in a way that over the counter products can't come close to.
I have had a chance to try the L'Bri Skincare Trio for Normal to Dry Skin and would love to share my thoughts on them with you!
Cleanser: Remember how I said I didn't want to smell like a spinach leaf? Thankfully, this cleanser is as far from that as possible! It has a very light scent that is neither herb-y nor chemically. It's just...light and clean. I will note that this cleanser doesn't lather like you might expect a cleanser should. While lather doesn't equate to cleaner skin, it can catch some people off guard if they are expecting a handful of bubbles. Other than missing the lather, I felt like my face was as clean as when I've used stripping cleansers from over the counter. The big difference? My face wasn't as dry!
Freshener: I think this is my favorite of the Trio. A small squirt on a makeup pad and you gently swipe it over your face. It balances the PH and removes any remaining traces of the day. By this point in the routine, I was feeling pretty good!
Lotion: This lotion matches the light scent of the cleanser and provides the perfect finish. With cold weather here, I've been able to give these products a good try, and I'm thrilled with how conditioned, smoothed, and hydrated my skin feels after using the three products together.
Elizabeth also sent me a few additional samples. I haven't had a chance to try them all, but I did give the Facial Masque a whirl this week. She told me that it's one of her top products, and I can understand why! If you haven't used a masque before, it's quite entertaining. You gently rub it on, let it dry for 15 minutes, and then rinse it off. Easy peasy. This particular masque takes it job very seriously and tightens considerably as it dries. When I used it, it kind of felt like I had spanx on my face. Once it was dry, I went upstairs to rinse it off, and stopped by the kids' room to check on how nap time was progressing. They weren't asleep yet, and I got some really strange looks. Haha! Sure enough, when I looked in the bathroom mirror, it looked like I'd just had a double round of Botox and was attempting to pull off the "duck face" that is so popular. But once I rinsed it off, I loved what was underneath! Fresh, new skin, and a gentle lift all over. Well worth the duck face!
Today, Elizabeth is giving away a full-sized set of her Skincare Trio: Cleanser, Freshener, and Lotion, plus a bottle of Hand and Body Lotion! She will work with you to make sure that she sends the correct formula for your skin type!
On top of that, when she gets to 100 FaceBook likes, she will let me draw a second winner to receive a sample size of the Skincare Trio. For every additional 25 likes beyond that, she will give away another one!
The Skincare Trio Sample has enough product to provide at least a week of continuous use, if not more. This is what Elizabeth initially sent me, and I couldn't believe how long it lasted!
PLUS, (yep, there's more!) anyone who purchases something through Elizabeth by the end of December will get the
Skincare Trio Sample for free! And if you want to try the
Skincare Trio Sample before purchasing something else, you can do so for just $6.75 to cover the cost of shipping.
And if you have any questions or want to purchase something, email Elizabeth at mrscaleb "at" gmail.com. She can match you to the correct products for your skin and send you your free Skincare Trio Sample with purchase! Also, make sure you check out
