Welcome to The Little Things Thursday!!
If you are new to our link-up, we like to take a minute to look back on the little things that brightened our week. So often we get busy and forget all of the things that we enjoy as we go through our daily lives. This is an opportunity to stop, remember, and enjoy those things! Nothing is too small...in fact, the smaller the better! That's the whole point! If you have a blog, link-up below. If you don't blog, I'd love for you to participate by leaving a comment. Ready?
My little munchkins! I was trying to take a photo of the girls (see below), and the boys actually cooperated for a group photo! Yay! They are getting so big, so fast!

We try never to pay retail for kids clothes. There is just no reason too, when they outgrow them so quickly! But inspite of my love for consignment sales, I came across these American Flag skirts at Walmart for $5 each. $5!! And like a sucker, I had to buy them. They were just way too cute to pass up! To make myself feel better, though, I bought them a size too big and used giant safety pins to make them fit this year. Two $5 skirts worn for two summers makes it worth it, right?
4. Caleb, The Blanket Collector (with Photo Bomb by Elijah)

This photo was supposed to be of Caleb. He likes to run around and collect everyone's blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals, and make himself a giant nest in his bed. I tried to take a photo, but the kid in green suddenly popped into the frame because he wanted his photo too.
Seriously, y'all should feel like you know my kids' personalities at this point. These photos say it all!

5. To the Car!

We have the same routine every time we get into the car. The girls run out the front door and then go looking for the "yellow flowers" in the yard. Picking those flowers every time we walk to or from the house is a highlight for them. Their preschool teacher has let me know that their cubbies at school are filling up with dead flowers. Good thing she finds that funny! Lol!

Good buy on those patriotic outfits for the girls! Kids are like cats when it comes to cameras I think, have to take the photos when THEY are in the mood.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are so cute! My three year old loves those yellow flowers too. We have to put them in a vase of water in the house, every time!
ReplyDeleteI would have totally bought those flag skirts too. They are adorable!!!
