I met Anjanette literally days before her family loaded up in the car and moved to Alaska. She was in my local blogging group here in Kansas City, and I only wish that we had met with enough time to get to know each other better in person!
On top of blogging at Raising the Barrs...In Alaska, Anjanette is also an Independent Consultant with Lilla Rose. I'd never heard of Lilla Rose until Anjanette mentioned it, but I've really fallen in love with their products. Lilla Rose is a line of hair jewelry in six different sizes that work for every type of hair. I tend to pull my hair up quite a bit, and elastic bands are my go-to. When Anjanette asked if I wanted to try a hair clip, I honestly didn't think it would hold my straight, slippery hair in place for more than a few seconds.
I choose the Sliver Celtic Knot Flexi Clip to try in the extra small size. I like pieces that can go with just about any outfit, and silver is very versatile! The extra small size ended up being perfect as I wanted the clip to hold both my ponytails and half ponytails. Little notches on the clip let you adjust the size so it works for multiple styles. With six different sizes available, there is a clip that literally works for every type of hair. I can definitely see myself picking up a mini size for styles that need less hair, and a small size so that I can do a french twist.
I like to thoroughly test this kind of thing out before giving my opinion one way or the other. For kicks, I've worn it in several different situations just to see what it would do:
running errands
trying on clothes in a thrift store (that includes pulling shirts on and off with the clip in place)
date night
running after 2-year-old quadruplets.
I was thrilled to find that it securely held my hair back the entire time...even while trying on clothes!

I would like to try the extra large flexi. I am curious to see if it will actually hold my hair. I have tons, and it is just now getting long enough to put up again.
I think you would be pleasantly surprised! I have only ever sold one XL to a customer who really needed that size for a ponytail. Everyone else has been so excited to find out at a medium or large actually worked well for them! :)
I love the Enchanting Copper Rose. I am lost without the plain hair clips that I use. I'm 58, with health issues. in the morning my hair immediately gets pulled back with a clip. These are beautiful. Anjanette is blessed with a wonderful gift. Thanks for the chance.Shared on facebook account also, hope I've done everything the correct way Blessings
I love the FlexiClip - I'd like the 3 flower medley one in a Medium... I have a large right now in a different style and it's a little big sometimes, other times it's perfect! Jenn W.
I am excited about the flexiclip. This is the first time I have ever heard of LilaRose or the flexiclip. What a great idea. Some many pretty ones to choose from! Love it!
I love the clips, but I really want to try the Intricate Design in Large -- I use a medium right now for my ponytail (yes, I have ridiculously thick straight hair)!
I've been wanting to try a Flexi for a long time, may actually buy one sometime. I don't have a particular one I'd like to try as they are all pretty. :)
I love them all!I would like to try a flexi clip in the Scroll work Heart and the turtle, also the head band.I only wear head bands right now,but I would love to try ones on this site! Lenora Ziobro lenora_young@yahoo.com
I like the 8-1906 Eternal Infinity Motif. I'd probably go for extra large so I could put up all my hair. It's long and thick, and most barrettes won't hold it. Lilla Rose sounds great!
I thought I replied before, but I didn't thanks for the reminder!! We ADORE Celtic knots here, so I'd definitely go for that one!! I've been wanting to try Lilla Rose, but never have spare money, if I won I'd get to see if it's worth the investment for the future! ;)
Thank you so much for dropping by to visit! I'm Rebecca, the proud mama of Kansas City quadruplets born on February 23, 2011! This blog started as a way to keep our friends and family in the loop during our pregnancy and has been continued as a way to document our crazy, wonderful, blessed life!
