My ABC of God Loves Me - Giveaway

Remember when I said that there was a second Tommy Nelson resource and giveaway that I wanted to share with you this month? Here it is!

My ABC of God Loves Me is a padded board book with a handle. Don't you just love those little handles? My kids do! This book has the same whimsical illustrations that you've seen in other resources that I've reviewed over the last few months. I guess I'm always partial to those because I think they perfectly capture the innocence and joy of childhood.

The contents of the book are as precious as the illustrations. Each page shares an attribute of God that begins with a letter of the alphabet and is described with a short rhyme. For example, the first page says,
"God is AMAZING.
He is brighter than the sun,
More powerful than all of us,
and He loves everyone!"
The book is a great way to help children understand how wonderful God is with engaging illustrations and rhymes that will draw them in and captivate them.

My ABC of God Loves Me retails for $6.99 and can be found on Tommy Nelson and Amazon. You can also click HERE to see the inside of the book.

  1. I try to teach my children that God loves all his children, no matter their size, color, age, gender, etc. When they point out someone who is a different color, large, short, etc and ask why I tell them God made us all different because it makes the world beautiful.

  2. After having a father (and his side of the family) abandon me, my favorite characteristic of God is his faithfulness--he never leaves us.

  3. Forgiveness. We do so many things that are not right in a day but at the end of the day we know we are forgiven if we are heartly sorry. It is an aspect of Grace. He makes all things new.

  5. There's so many amazing things about God that I want to teach my kids, but at this young age, one of the main ones we focus on is His omnipresence. I remind them that if they are ever lost or hurt or scared or sad, God is with them and they can talk to him about how they feel and ask for His help. :)

  7. We try to focus on having a servant's heart most of all. My kids are only 3 1/2 (twins) and 1 1/2, but there are still many opportunities to show them the importance of serving others.

  10. Oh, and I forgot to say that I try very hard to teach my son Grace. He is a spirited child and encounters negativity in his daily life maybe more than other kids. So we have had to work on forgiving other kids, teachers, and ourselves.
