Itsy Bitsy Christmas by Max Lucado Review and Giveaway

We are only six weeks away from Christmas. What?! That's crazy close! So over the next six weeks, I have several really fun giveaways lined up to help Christmas sparkle just a little brighter at your house!

Today, I'm giving away Max Lucado's book Itsy Bitsy Christmas, You're Never to Little for His Love!

The book centers on Itsy and Bitsy, two small mice who live in Bethlehem. They find out that a King is coming to their town and excitedly share their news with the animals in the stable. But every animal that they share their good news with tells them that Bethlehem is too small and unimportant to ever host a King. Still, they believe a King is coming, and search through the town looking for him. At the end of the day, they still haven't found him, and disappointed and hurt, they return home to their stable. The other animals were right. Their little town really is too small for someone so important. However, as they approach the stable, they discover that the King is actually sleeping right in their home! In wonder and awe they learn that the King really does care and love each of us, no matter how small!

This is a precious book with beautiful illustrations and a sweet story. It would be the perfect book to read as a family on Christmas Eve while enjoying cozy pajamas and hot chocolate!

Itsy Bitsy Christmas retails for $14.99, but is currently on sale for $11.41 on Amazon. Also, if your kids love coloring as much as mine do, make sure you print off these free Itsy Bitsy Christmas coloring pages!

  1. On Christmas Eve, my family makes homemade pizza--a section for each person to have whatever toppings they choose--and after eating it, we open gifts from each other. It's a lovely night spent together.

  12. On Christmas eve we go to see the Nutcracker in our town. Last year it was only shown live for 4 days, this year 2 days and one of the days happens to be New Years Eve. One of the twins does not want to sit still at all so one parent ended up leaving 10 minutes into the show. Not sure what to do this year.

We go to my parents house during the day for lunch and exchange gifts, then we go home, have supper, the kids play with new toys from Grandma's house, then they go to bed, and my husband and I wrap their presents, while enjoying a beverage or three, get presents under the tree, and then we just sit in the dark with just the Christmas lights on, and relax and reflect.
