The Little Things Thursdays: #50

Welcome to The Little Things Thursday!!

If you are new to our link-up, we like to take a minute to look back on the little things that brightened our week. So often we get busy and forget all of the things that we enjoy as we go through our daily lives. This is an opportunity to stop, remember, and enjoy those things! Nothing is too small...in fact, the smaller the better! That's the whole point! If you have a blog, link-up below. If you don't blog, I'd love for you to participate by leaving a comment. Ready?

1. Uncle Nathan Came to Visit
Once a year or so, Sean's brother comes to visit. He stopped by this week while he was in town and played with the kids for a bit. They took an excellent nap that afternoon since he had them running around in circles and dancing to music! (And this Mama loves it when the kiddos take a good nap!)

2. The Vaseline now Lives in the Bathroom
So with their new found freedom and areas to roam, the kids have been getting into a lot more trouble. I didn't think there was anything in their room that could be a problem, but...I was wrong. They've taken to pushing the toddler beds around the room and lining it up with their clothing rack. I've had a tub of Vaseline sitting on one of the shelves so that I can easily apply it to Ellie's incision site, but apparently I didn't factor in the kids using the toddler bed as a ladder. Abby went ahead and coated Caleb's bed and sheets with it for me. *sigh* There shouldn't be anything else in there that they can get into now...eh, I probably shouldn't say that out loud.
What was funny though was what Elijah did as soon as he figured out that Mommy wasn't happy with what she found. Check out what he is doing as Abby continues to play with the Vaseline. He's wiping it off just as fast as he can so that he won't get in trouble (and I have no idea if he participated, but I can only guess!)

Needless to say, the Vaseline now lives in the bathroom.

3. Caleb and Mommy
Caleb cuddled up to me at one point this week and was so adorable! He doesn't typically enjoy having his photo taken, but this one turned out so cute! Love it!

  2. Other than spending time with family that I hadn't seen in a while, on of my favorite little things from last week was going to see Fireworks in Lee's Summit to officially kick off the Holiday season. :)
