Every Day a Blessing Devotional Giveaway

This post contains affiliate links for your convenience. Thank you for supporting our family and blog!
Back in January, I said that I had two devotional giveaways for you. Then I broke my leg. As entertaining as I'm sure it would have been to read what I'd have to say while high on persocet, I decided to spare you that and bump this back a month.

Your welcome. :)

So although it's February, I would still love to get one of these devotional books in your hands! While the last one for God's Little Princess Bedtime Devotional was for little girls, Every Day a Blessing Devotional is for slightly older kids and works for either gender.

The Every Day a Blessing is perfectly set up for active kids who can only pay attention for so long. Each devotional is one page. It starts with a verse of the day, and then a short text that speaks directly to the child. I think my favorite part though, is the prompt at the end of the reading to go DO something. I love that he book encourages putting something in action as a way of reinforcing the concept. I think things often stick better for people when they physically move from the page of a book into real life.

At least, I do...and I'm in my late 20's!

My kids are several years away from being able to use this book, but I really loved the focus on recognizing blessings in our own lives and blessings others as well. What a wonderful mindset to teach moldable hearts!

If you'd like to see a preview of the inside of the book, you can click here. Clicking directly on the pages of the book will blow them up so that you don't have to use squint-a-vision. You can also find the book on Amazon!

Tommy Nelson would like to send a copy of Every Day a Blessing Devotional to one A Beautiful Ruckus reader! Please use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter. Winning entries will be validated prior to announcing the winner with an alternate drawn if the entries cannot be verified.

  1. My kids are only 4 so they will pick flowers and give them to elderly people. We do other things but that is as a family and not something that they come up with (such as Operation Christmas Child.)

  2. They love taking food to the foodbankto help others.

  3. What are some things that your kids do to bless others? My son has always tried to help others. When he was just a little boy, he made sure I gave his no longer needed toys and clothing to a little boy who lived near us. Today as an adult, he is helping another family. One month, he secretly paid their light bill. They still do not know who paid it lol.

  4. OOPS I forgot to leave my name abedabun dawn

  5. My kids did Operation Christmas Child too and LOVED it! They asked every day if the kids got their boxes yet. ;) They also like to make cards for their grandparents using lots of stickers. And they love helping throw clothes in the washing machine.

  6. this would be for my nephews, and they love to help others with carrying stuff or picking up stuff or whatever physical thing is needed. :D

  7. I make sure my kids do one kind thing for someone else each day and I always have them tell me about it over dinner.

  8. My son makes Valentines and puts them in our neighbors' mailboxes.

  9. My 2 Grandsons love picking their Nana a nice bouquet of wild flowers when they come to visit me. Always warms my heart <3

  10. My son is only 6 months old, but his smile can light up the room :) I want to teach him to pray for others and do nice things for them
