1. Yummy!
Ellie has decided that helping Mommy look through the grocery ads is a lot of fun! In the last couple of weeks, she has started climbing on my lap and carefully pointed at each food item in the ads while announcing, "Yummy!" Then she takes a pen (with the tip covered) and pretends like she is starring the best sales. Lol! My little mirror!
2. Trolley Run
We took the kids on the Kansas City Trolley Run last weekend as our first venture out in public since lockdown. I'm hoping to get a post up with pictures at some point this weekend! Stay tuned!
3. Summer Haircut and Highlights
I did all of the desserts for a wedding last weekend. Oh. My. Word. So much work! I made three types of cake pops, three types of cupcakes, a pie, and a cake. Doable before kids? Yes. Doable after kids? Only with the kind help of a couple of friends. It took hours and hours of kitchen time, but ended up turning out pretty cute in the end!
We are currently in 7th place in the Top 25 Moms of Multiples Blogging Contest! We need about 200 votes to catch back up with 6th and there are only six days left! Sean let me run out and get a haircut and highlights this week! I don't get new-dos often, but when I do, I feel like a new woman! Plus, I got an insanely good deal on it, so it was a double win!
