The Read and Share Bible - Giveaway

I'm really excited to bring you this Tommy Nelson resource! But let me explain how I got my hand's on it in the first place.

Every month, I get a list of resources from Tommy Nelson that they let me choose from for my kids. We have been really blessed with the books that they have added to our library, and hope that you are enjoying the giveaways as well!

This particular resource wasn't listed. The way I found it is that a reader asked me for a recommendation on a good Bible devotional-type book for her toddler. I asked the company and other Tommy Nelson Mommy Bloggers what they would suggest and this one was mentioned over and over again. Even though this book wasn't on the resource list, they kindly offered to let me review and give one away. Yay!
So to my reader who asked for the recommendation, "Thank you!" This book is excellent for my kids too! I'm so glad you sent me on a treasure hunt to find it!

The Read and Share Bible is the perfect Bible for toddlers and young readers. It has more than 200 illustrated Bible stories, written in a simplified way so that little ones can understand them. Each two page spread features illustrations, a short Bible story, and prompts to encourage your child to think about the story and dialogue with you. Each story and discussion can easily be done in five minutes or less, so that you won't lose the attention of your little reader.

I love the way this book is set up, and greatly appreciate that it has been extra carefully reviewed to make sure that it stays accurate to the Biblical text while still being age appropriate for my kids.

I foresee many wonderful bedtime devotions in our future!

Maybe you would like to win a copy for yourself? (Yes! You do!)

  1. As cliche as it may sound, my favorite Bible story is Noah's Ark. I love that we can look at rainbows today and reflect upon God's promise that was made so many years ago. It also makes me think about how He never changes and He never abandons us. :)

  2. My favorite story is Noah. I named my son after him because I hope that he follows Noah's example of extreme faith.
