God's Little Princess Bedtime Devotional Giveaway

This post contains affiliate links for your convenience. Thank you for supporting our family and blog!

January is the perfect time of the year to think about picking up a new devotional book. Tommy Nelson has graciously sent me two devotional books to review and giveaway to get your year started off right!

Today, I'd like to give away the first one!
Sheila Walsh is a well-know author who has written many children's books and adult books. She is the author of the Gigi: God's Little Princess books which have also been turned into a DVD series. The God's Little Princess Bedtime Devotional is one of the books in the God's Little Princess line.

First of all, I'm totally disappointed that I forgot to take pictures of my girls with this book. Sadness. I took photos of other things, but totally spaced this one. So you will have to use your imagination. Sorry!

*sigh*  Can I still claim pregnancy/baby brain if my kids are almost 3??

Okay, on to the book:

I know this has nothing to do with what is inside the book, but the cover has a sparkly crown with pink jewels. It's really cute! My girls thought it was so pretty, especially since they love putting on their princess dresses. The more sparkles, the better!

Each devotional inside the book is two pages long. The first page has a Bible verse and short devotion expanding on what the verse talks about. The second page is called "Giggles and Grace" and has real life applications to discuss with your daughter. That page also has a short prayer that you can read aloud.
They are very short segments in order to keep the attention of young girls, and are written in an easy-to-understand way. The illustrations are also charming, and of course, there is a bright pink ribbon to bookmark your place.

The bedtime devotional is still a little on the old side for our girls. I'd say it is probably best suited to the 4-8 year old age range. But we will definitely hold on to this one for the future, and maybe pick up the Goodnight Warrior Devotional (also by Sheila Walsh!) for the boys when we start using it.

If you are looking to pick one up now, I found the God's Little Princess Bedtime Devotional for $10.79 on Amazon.
