Hello! That’s us in the photo above. We are Sean and Rebecca-the
super blessed parents of quadruplets born at 27 weeks, 6 days, on February
23rd, 2011!
Welcome to our blogging world!
Our blog is centered around the ups and downs of raising our
quadruplets and how our sudden increase in family size has affected everyday
life. As you read, you will find tips for streamlining life with multiples, how
my idea of motherhood has been turned on its head, and how our marriage has
been challenged as we juggle four kids the same age. It quite the hilarious
adventure most days!
But this certainly isn’t a blog just for and about multiples! Anyone
who has had a toddler will identify with our kids’ crazy antics, and motherhood
and marriage can be tough roads to navigate no matter how many kids you have
(either one at a time or all at once!). Sometimes it’s just nice to know that
the craziness of life is experienced by others too! And yes, you will find
posts on crafts and food as well! I do stick with the simple and quick though,
so if you are looking for elaborate crafts, you might be a little disappointed.
I guess you could say that this is more of a lifestyle blog with
a multiples twist!
One thing is very important: I try really hard to be transparent
and authentic about our lives. It isn’t always golden over here, and that does
make its way to the blog on occasion! There is such a sense of camaraderie and
community when we open up…for us and for you! We also welcome any questions about
our family, because, let’s face it, it is a unique situation. So don’t be shy! You won’t know unless you
ask!
So now that you know a little more about what you’ll find in our
little section of the blogging world, where should you start?
If you are looking for some of the most popular posts, I think
you will enjoy these!
If you are looking for some fun How-Tos, you might enjoy these!
Or maybe you want to start with how we got here in the first
place!
And definitely make sure you check out:
No matter where you start, we are thrilled that you are here!
Please feel free to leave comments or questions, because we love hearing from
our readers!

So…who are you people??
It’s really not all that exciting who we are. We were just a
normal couple, each working a job, and loving life. Now we are just a normal
couple with one less job, four more kids, and really loving life!
But seriously, that doesn’t tell us anything.
Oh, you want to know that stuff…okay…
Sean is a Payroll Analyst. As near as I (Rebecca) can gather, he
trouble shoots the payroll systems at Sprint. When he isn’t working, he most
loves sitting on the floor with the kiddos and having them crawl all over him.
All of our kids, but especially the girls, absolutely love their Daddy and
always clamor for his attention! Sean loves reading when he can find a quiet
minute to do so. His favorite types of books to read are comic books, Star Wars
books, or books on marriage and family. He also takes care of the family finances,
keeps track of car maintenance, does half of the laundry, and makes sure that
if Cardinals baseball is on TV, that we are sitting down to watch it!
Rebecca is a stay-at-home mom. This has always been a dream job
for her…she was just surprised that quadruplets are what made it a reality! Her
whole day revolves around the kids and associated kid activities such as changing
diapers, stepping around toys on the floor, and repeatedly sweeping up crumbs.
She absolutely loves what she does and the snuggles on the couch are the best!
When she can get two arms free at the same time, she enjoys blogging and
freelance writing. It’s a creative outlet for her and helps to keep her sane
amidst the chaos. You can find a list of articles she has written by heading
here.
We’ve been married since March 15th, 2008. Way back when we got married, we had a wedding website (it seems like so long ago these days!). Click
here if you want to read about how we met and see photos of the picnic where Sean proposed to Rebecca!

Your family sounds wonderful! I admire your ability to keep up with four small children and a blog as well. Looks like you are doing a great job of both, and I can't wait to meet you at BBC-St. Louis! See you there!
